In preparation for the launch of their new webshop in 2014, Hunkemöller brought me in to help revamp their online presence. I created a style guide for the webshop and email marketing, made templates and wrote copy, improving conversion rates and efficiency of content production.

Special attention was paid to defining consistent use of typography and photography, placement of call-to-action buttons and overall colour harmonisation. The homepage acquired a fresh, coherent look with more effective marketing content.

Inspiration emails

A template was created with built in flexibility to lend variation to the weekly inspiration emails.

Elements were defined which could be moved around and varied within a specifically defined grid:

  • Marketing photography
  • Product shots
  • Model photography
  • Zooms of qualitative details
  • Prices
  • Call-to-action button

In addition to designing the emails, I also did most of the copywriting.

Segmented emails

Variations for the segmented emails were created which allowed for the placement of specifically-to-the-customer-tailored products.

Blog

The layout of the Hunkemöller blog was designed for clear legibility and easy adaptation of inspirational content.

Kris is an excellent designer and highly efficient. She has been responsible for creating templates and brand guidelines for Hunkemoller’s websites and emails which have greatly improved look and feel and conversion. She is not phased by tight deadlines and can turn around effective designs swiftly. She is detail oriented and has a real eye for design. She also keeps up to date with trends in the digital market, and incorporates good ideas in her own creative work. I wouldn’t hesitate to employ her again!
